2025 Golf Classic Achieves Record-Breaking Success for TESU Scholarship Fund

The TESU Foundation hosted its 31st Annual Golf Classic on Monday, May 5, 2025, at The Ridge at Back Brook in Ringoes, NJ, raising a record-breaking $105,000 in support of the TESU Scholarship Fund.

This annual event plays a vital role in helping TESU maintain affordable tuition for adult learners who balance work, family and education. Proceeds from the Golf Classic support the TESU Scholarship Fund, providing critical resources that empower students to pursue degrees that transform their futures.

The program featured remarks from Mike Illum, CEO of Tropicale Foods and TESU alumnus. Illum earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and management in 2005 while balancing work and family responsibilities. His impressive career includes leadership roles at major brands such as Campbell's Soup, Keurig Green Mountain and Bolthouse Farms. A current Golf Committee member and former Foundation Board member, Illum continues to demonstrate unwavering support for the University.

Since 1995, the Golf Classic has been held in memory of Thomas C. Streckewald, a respected and well-loved TESU employee. Proceeds support the TESU Scholarship Fund, providing resources for adult students to continue their journeys toward earning a life-changing degree.
