TESU Invest - EdAssist Tuition Program

Through a special partnership between Bright Horizons/EdAssist and Thomas Edison State University, TESU is providing a quality and debt-free pathway to degree and certificates programs at Thomas Edison State University. The TESU Invest - EdAssist Tuition Program is a career-focused curriculum completely offered online at Thomas Edison State University. TESU offers courses at the beginning of every month — 12 times a year. Transfer Credits — TESU accepts eligible transfer credits from prior education, prior learning, and military training, and accept 90 credits from a community college and 114 from additional regionally accredited bodies.

Note: While this is a debt free tuition program, you may be required by your company to utilize the tuition reimbursement program by paying up front and requesting tuition reimbursement from EdAssist.

Tuition Reimbursement: Student pays upfront to TESU at the time of registration and request reimbursement from EdAssist when grades are released.

Direct Bill: Student uploads a Voucher or letter of Credit with no money up front. (PLEASE verify with EdAssist which program you are eligible for)

Verification Letter: This letter only verifies you are eligible for tuition and is not a voucher or letter of credit.

TESU Invest - EdAssist Tuition Program Guidelines and Details


Student interested in the program: This program may be tuition reimbursement or direct Bill depending on your company. Students should reach out to EdAssist for a complete explanation of benefits.
  • Employee must apply through Thomas Edison State University and through the Bright Horizons EdAssist system in order to utilize the tuition benefit.
  • Participants must identify themselves as an employee of one of the above partners to receive the TESU Invest - EdAssist Tuition Program benefit.
  • Any completion documentation, such as grades, must be submitted through Bright Horizons EdAssist within 60 days of course completion.
  • Tuition assistance is an annual budget (January – December), based on the course end date.

Submitting Applications Through Bright Horizons EdAssist Solutions


If you are a first-time user of the education benefits, you must complete the EdAssist Coaching Session prior to submitting an application. Appointments can be scheduled from the Bright Horizons EdAssist website by selecting “Schedule Free Education Coaching” from the home page.
