Program Details

Thomas Edison State University (TESU) has teamed up with all 18 New Jersey community colleges to offer you the opportunity to transfer in up to 90 community college credits and complete your bachelor’s degree online in more than 50 programs of study.

At TESU, you can complete your fourth and final year (30 credits) through TESU’s completely online courses, challenge courses through prior learning assessment (PLA) and transfer in previously earned credits from other regionally accredited institutions. TESU terms begin every month and courses typically run for 12 weeks.

How It Works

In addition, TESU is providing an automatic application fee waiver and guaranteed admission to TESU for all New Jersey community college graduates as well as locking our students into a TESU catalog year at the time of application, which will afford them up to three years to complete the remaining 30 credits at a New Jersey community college.

This program, on average, can save you more than $15,000 in tuition costs and accelerate completion of your bachelor’s degree progress. What’s more, if you are using financial aid, the new partnership between New Jersey community colleges and TESU has you covered through our joint financial aid agreement, allowing you to continue using your financial aid toward the program.
