Undergraduate Certificate in Literature
The Undergraduate Certificate in Literature provides students with foundational understanding of the historical and cultural characteristics of literary genres. The certificate equips students with critical thinking and analytical skills applicable to any career including education, business, non-profits, media and communications.

Note: For non-degree enrolled students, at least 50% of the credits required for an undergraduate certificate must be earned at Thomas Edison State University. Application of any transferred credits is at the discretion of the dean.
Up to 9 credits (50%) of the 18 credit certificate may be older than 10 years. The remaining certificate credits must be current, completed within 10 years of the most current date of application to the University.
