Three PMSM Degree Tracks
The 30-credit PMSM degree reflects an innovative advancement in online, adult-centric business and management education. Its innovative scholar-practitioner designed curriculum provides discipline focus, maximizes course flexibility, and accelerates time-to-degree completion.

Track 1: Traditional Area of Study
Structure
- Core Courses: 15 credits (5 courses)
- Area of Study: 12 credits (4 courses)

Students complete an established University-approved area of study (e.g., Organizantional Leadership or other approved areas).

Students may enroll in the doctoral-level courses after completing 15 master’s credits and meeting eligibility criteria, including:
- Minimum 3.0 graduate GPA
- Grade of B or higher in doctoral courses
- Final review and approval by School of Business leadership
Upon formal admission to the Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership, Culture, and Change, up to six (6) credits apply directly toward the 48-credit doctoral degree.

This area of study prepares students for the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and other types of certifications as project management professionals.
