Thomas Edison State University Foundation is a New Jersey-registered nonprofit corporation existing for the sole benefit of Thomas Edison State University. It is classified as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) and is further classified as a public charity under section 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(iv).

The Foundation receives and manages donated funds to ensure that donors’ intentions are honored and resources are managed prudently in support of students, programs and technology for the University.

The Foundation operates on a fiscal year calendar from July 1 — June 30.
