A Smart Move for the Whole Family
JetBlue Family Scholars is a flexible, cost-conscious degree program designed for the families of JetBlue Crewmembers. Administered by Thomas Edison State University (TESU), the program gives eligible family members the chance to earn an accredited bachelor’s degree at a reduced cost by blending online provider courses, TESU coursework, and credit for prior learning or experience. It’s a streamlined, affordable path to a degree—tailored for real life.

Program Highlights
- Fully managed by TESU
- One-on-one coaching and support from TESU staff
- Option to apply federal financial aid (TESU courses only)
- Monthly course starts for ultimate flexibility
- Transfer credit accepted—including prior learning and work experience
Degrees Aligned with the Program
- B.A. in Computer Science, History, Psychology, or Liberal Studies
- B.S. in Business Administration – General Management
- B.S. in Aviation Flight Technology or Maintenance Technology
(FAA certifications required)
Estimated Cost
- TESU tuition: $405 per credit (15-credit minimum)
- Online course subscription: ~$100/month
- Total degree estimate: $6,500–$10,500*
Based on one course per month. Faster pace = lower total cost.
