School of Nursing and Health Professions Earns Sigma Theta Tau Chapter Key Award

The W. Cary Edwards School of Nursing and Health Professions' Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Honor Society of Nursing, Upsilon Rho Chapter, has been selected to receive the 2023-2025 Chapter Key Award. This marks the third consecutive time the School has received the distinction.
Established in 1991, the Chapter Key Award honors STTI chapters that demonstrate excellence in leadership and operations, membership recruitment and retention, communication and engagement, service and philanthropy. The award covers chapter activity in three-year increments.
"This recognition underscores the commitment of our staff, students and alumni to excellence in nursing scholarship and leadership," noted Maureen Clark-Gallagher, assistant dean and director of Distance Learning at the School, who also serves as treasurer and board member of the New Jersey State Nurses Association. "Our Upsilon Rho Chapter #471 is proud to be recognized among this distinctive group of chapters worldwide, and we remain dedicated to fostering professional growth and collaboration within our nursing community."
The distinction will be formally recognized during STTI’s 48th Biennial Convention on Nov. 9 in Indianapolis, Ind. To learn more about the W. Cary Edwards School of Nursing and Health Professions, visit https://www.tesu.edu/nursing.
