Nursing Academic Programs
The W. Cary Edwards School of Nursing and Health Professions offers undergraduate and graduate programs for RNs interested in professional advancement and continuing education and an accelerated program for those who possess a non-nursing bachelor’s degree who want to enter the profession as a registered nurse.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN)
For RNs interested in earning the BSN and preparing for graduate-level study.

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
For RNs with a BSN who are interested in becoming nurse educators, nurse leaders or informatics specialists. There are two nurse practitioner tracks: family nurse practitioner and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
For RNs with a BSN and a master’s degree who are interested in systems-level leadership.
